Operating from his home in Coquitlam (a suburb of Vancouver) British Columbia, Tim creates and builds custom Japanese style furniture including cabinets (Tansu), shoji, lamps, tables & doors.
Tim can create a custom design for you or help you create one using ideas from his extensive library of Japanese interior books, catalogues and personal portfolio of pieces. The basis for most of Ewart's designs is an Asian/Western fusion. He mixes the traditional classic designs of Old Japan with the modern needs of a home today.
Whether it's a TV stand, Tatami Room, CD cabinet, Japanese style Tansu, Step Chest, Coffee Table, Shoji Panel, Bi-fold Door or Lamp you need, Tim can work with you to get that special unique piece for your home or business that will blend with any decor.
You don't live in the Vancouver area? Not a problem. Tim has shipped his furniture & custom made shoji all over North America including Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax, Victoria, New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, Portland.
